We call ourselves !&?, Edward is Exclaim for his loud personality, presence, and optimistic attitude, while Ara is Question, for her well-needed skepticism to Edward’s ideas, and general lack of presence. As a duo, we were faced with a unique challenge – Ara requires a working-from-home accessible career. Hence !&? was made, a symbol of divide and conquer that we adopt into our work style. Apart we each read the brief, highlighting points of interest and noting every thought that arises. We then come together, share ideas and pick them apart. Edward takes care of presentation and pitches, while Ara covers research and design. And now, with Edward moving closer to London and Ara pulling the strings from behind, we will fill our respective roles as !&?.
